Did my heart good to see those two on the same stage. Not only did James and Lars ask Jason to play, they even asked Dave Mustaine to attend. He passed (on tour in Europe), but it was a nice jesture.
James said after he watched the debacle with Blondie in 2006, he swore if Metallica ever got in, it would be drama-free. And it was.
